Before starting the foundation strengthening work, a series of geodetic surveys was carried out to accurately determine the position of the columns in space (in the vertical and horizontal planes). Loosened horizons of the foundation soil were also identified using dynamic probing. A separate study made it possible to detect local zones of voids under the floor slab. To solve the task, the deep injection method – Uretek Deep Injection – was chosen. All work was carried out from the surface of the first‑floor slab, with injections performed at calculated angles using the "wave principle". Void filling was performed strictly vertically. All work was carried out under constant supervision of the surveying service.
