Project: Warehouse complex
Location: Republic of Tatarstan
Year: 2020
Duration: 5 days
Technology: DEEP INJECTION & SLAB LIFTING
Local leveling of the warehouse floor slab to a level of +/- 5mm
Problem
Local floor subsidence
Solution
Reinforcement of the base and alignment of structures
Problem
During prolonged operation of a warehouse complex, including due to constant dynamic impact from forklift movements, local floor settlement appeared in the active traffic zone, which interfered with normal warehouse operations and reduced productivity.

Foundation:
Monolithic reinforced concrete floor slab with a thickness of 550 mm.

Task
Strengthen the foundation soils, level the floor slab in the horizontal plane with tolerances of ±5 mm (height difference) over the entire area of the work zone.

Scope of work:
Work area ~350 m².

Method:
Uretek Deep injection / Slab lifting.
Solution
Before starting the foundation strengthening work, a set of activities was carried out to determine the density of the foundation and identify weak‑bearing soil horizons. A zero cycle of geomonitoring was also performed to determine height differences. To solve the task of strengthening the foundation soils, the deep injection method – Deep Injection – was chosen. All work was carried out inside the building, with injections performed at several levels, strictly vertically. To level the floor, the Slab Lifting method was chosen. Injections were carried out in sections, strictly in one direction using the “wave” principle. After completion of the foundation soil strengthening and floor slab levelling, a set of geodetic works was performed to install control marks for further monitoring and annual warranty geomonitoring.
