Task to be solved:
Levelling a section of settled floor surface in a building materials store with a total area of 125 m², strengthening and stabilising uneven soil settlement beneath them without excavation or stopping operations.
Initial data:
In a heated warehouse of a store, during the installation of utility networks inside the warehouse, the floors settled. These deformations were caused by systematic wetting and increased compressibility of the underlying soils due to leaks from nearby water supply pipes. Using geodetic levelling of the floor surface, level differences of up to 26 mm with gaping cracks were identified, and when the floor was opened, voids between it and the soil of up to 40 mm were found. The results of dynamic probing indicated significant soil loosening.
Goal:
Restore the design levels of the floors and shelving in the warehouse premises to ensure normal operating conditions in the shortest possible time.
