Task to be solved:
Restore normal operational properties of a residential house in the shortest possible time, without excavation and without intervention.
Initial data
The owners of a residential house built an extension to the existing volume. At the junction of the existing and new structures, a crack began to develop. The extension became deformed. A visual inspection established that the deformations are developing due to excessive settlement of the extension foundations, which are embedded in the backfill soil in the recesses near the house.

Strengthen the foundation soils of the extension and lift the settled structures.

The problem was solved by the DEEP INJECTION method according to URETEK technology, which involves injecting an expanding polymer mixture into the foundation soil to strengthen it and level foundation settlement. In total, 16 injections were performed at different levels under the foundation footing, which ensured strengthening of the foundation soil and lifting of the settled structures by an average of up to 10 mm, and the work lasted only 2 working days.

Solution
The effectiveness of the measures taken was expressed in the restoration of normal operating conditions for the residential house with the extension. The quality of soil strengthening was verified by probing tests before and after strengthening, and the lift of the structures was verified by laser monitoring.
