Task
Carry out work to strengthen the soils beneath the foundations of an extension to a residential house under construction in the shortest possible time, without excavation and without stopping the construction work.
Problem
Initial data
During the survey of the residential house under construction, it was determined that due to the extension built without a design and without compliance with construction standards for foundation construction, uneven settlement caused by increased compressibility of the foundation soils led to defects in the above‑ground structures, compromising the integrity of the residential house.

Objective
Stabilise deformations by strengthening the foundation soils and ensure conditions for normal operation of the residential house with the extension.

Technology applied
The solution to the task in confined interior spaces was made possible by URETEK technology using the DEEP INJECTION method.
Solution
By injecting the URETEK geopolymer composition beneath the foundation footings, a strengthened soil mass was formed in the foundation, and deformations were stabilised. The soil strengthening was completed in 1 working day.
