Project: Private two-storey apartment building
Location: Shchelkovo, Levoberezhny Settlement
Year: 2016
Duration: 7 days
Technology: DEEP INJECTION
A two-story apartment building on an old foundation
Problem
Uneven settlement of the house during reconstruction
Solution
Providing foundation support with structural alignment
Problem
The house was built on an existing old foundation. After the walls and roof were erected, the foundation settled.

Task:
The house with a first‑floor area of 186 m² needed strengthening of the foundation and its base, and good access for the work was expected. The soil conditions of the site had soft, sandy silt. The goal was to level the house as economically as possible, since repair costs were not included in the original construction budget.
Solution
Deep Uretek injection was the most suitable method to provide support for the foundations and the entire house. Uretek resins were also used to level different parts of the house. The correction took just seven days. The building was re‑levelled to tolerances within 15 mm to save the budget, so that the homeowner could return to building the house in the shortest possible time.

Result:
Faced with the alternatives of either demolishing the house or a lengthy reconstruction, the homeowner found that Uretek is a cost‑effective and economical solution to eliminate the damage from foundation settlement.
