Problem
A water pipe burst caused wetting of the foundation base soils and, as a result, uneven settlement of the building. Numerous cracks appeared. During the survey, weakened soil layers in need of strengthening were identified.

Solution
Work was carried out to strengthen the foundation base soils of the strip foundation to a depth from -1.2 meters to -2.8 meters. Strengthening of the foundation base soils using URETEK technology was performed by injecting an expanding geopolymer composition URETEK into the weakened soil layer.
