In its work, the company Uretek Ground Engineering also encounters extremely small objects, such as ovens or barbecue areas. As a rule, the feasibility study of the project at first glance indicates the high cost of the work to be performed, but upon closer inspection, it becomes clear that this is one of the most effective solutions that allows long‑term restoration of the original appearance of the cooking area on the site.

In spring 2018, our company received an order to level the foundation of a gazebo and a barbecue area located on the residential property. As a result of the survey work, it became clear that the foundation soils under the barbecue were in a very poor condition and, due to the lack of drainage, were heavily saturated with moisture.

The restoration project provided for strengthening the foundation soils and lifting the settled structure back to its original design position. Additionally, as a recommendation, drainage installation was specified to prevent new settlement from occurring. The restoration work for the barbecue area and gazebo was completed within 3 hours; the resulting cracks were closed and required only minor cosmetic repair.
