Problem
Wetting of foundation base soils (due to lack of proper drainage and insufficient blind area width) caused uneven settlement of the foundations, which in turn led to multiple deformations.

Solution
To solve the task, a preliminary comprehensive survey of the foundation base was carried out. The results confirmed loosening of the base soils and the presence of weak‑bearing soils beneath the foundation footing. Work was performed to strengthen the base soils, and recommendations were given for site improvement and drainage.
