Description of the facility: A garage attached to a residential building. The foundation is strip type with a depth of 1 m. The thickness of the slab laid on the ground is 30 cm.
Problem
The company Uretek Ground Engineering received a request for strengthening the foundation soils and lifting the garage floor slab located in the Moscow region. As a result of information gathering and conducted surveys, a solution project was developed.
The project in detail
Based on the overall picture of what was happening and the data obtained after measurements, namely: the close proximity of the retaining wall and buttresses, the company's specialists decided to abandon lifting due to the possibility of deformation of the retaining wall. This was related to the design features of this structure during construction. At the same time, soil investigations showed weak soils extending to a depth of -5 meters from the ground surface.
Solution
In connection with the situation, our engineers decided to carry out work using Deep Injection technology in the form of column injection.
